Global Retail Selling Model

Levi’s®

Levi’s® introduced a unified Global Retail Selling Model to create a consistent customer experience across stores and regions. The initiative aligned store teams around a shared framework for how stylists engage with customers throughout the shopping journey.

Role: Instructional Designer

Focus: learning ecosystem design, visual learning assets, global rollout support

The Challenge

Retail teams were already receiving guidance from multiple sources—product education, merchandising standards, operational procedures, and campaign messaging. Without a clear structure tying these pieces together, it was difficult to consistently reinforce the behaviors expected in stores.

The new model introduced a simple four-step framework—Welcome, Engage, Style, Thank—designed to guide stylists through authentic customer interactions that build stronger relationships and increase purchase likelihood.

The challenge was translating this strategic framework into learning resources that could support a global rollout and help store teams quickly understand how the model should be applied on the sales floor.

My Role

As an instructional designer, I partnered with retail leadership and learning teams to translate the strategy into practical learning resources.

My work focused on:

Structuring the visual framework of the selling model
Designing facilitator and participant guides for the rollout
Developing the launch video used to introduce the initiative
Building digital learning modules to support ongoing onboarding
