Live Facilitation & Instructor-Led Learning Experience
My work in learning and development is grounded in a strong background in instructor-led (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (VILT). While much of my recent work focuses on digital learning, enablement, and learning strategy, I continue to design learning experiences with live delivery, facilitation flow, and real-world application in mind. Whether in person or virtual, my approach emphasizes hands-on participation, peer learning, and structured opportunities for learners to practice and learn by doing.
Earlier in my career, I designed and facilitated large-scale learning experiences including multi-day seminars, experiential workshops, onboarding programs, team-building sessions, and on-site coaching. The images below highlight examples of this work—ranging from immersive learning playgrounds to collaborative training and onboarding environments. This facilitation foundation continues to inform how I design learning today, strengthening my ability to create practical, human-centered training that scales across digital, blended, and on-the-job contexts.

Team building & Icebreakers
Training face to face provided a lot of opportunities for teambuilding. In the past couple of years, I have curated resources for virtual teambuilding.

Seminars & Playgrounds
This photo depicts our teacher/facilitators participating in a hands-on playground. My approach to both virtual and face-to-face training is for participants to “learn by doing.”

Training and Onboarding
Experiential Learning and hands-on learning for adults is a big focus when I create training. I also try to incorporate peer-to-peer learning where appropriate which you can see depicted in this photo.
